Today, around 70 people will have their lives saved or the quality of their lives enhanced thanks to an air ambulance. It was the same yesterday. It will be the same tomorrow.
Many people don’t realise that there are actually 21 separate regional air ambulance charities and not one of them receives money from the Government. Each is entirely funded through donations. That’s 39 air ambulances run by 21 charities flying 365 days a year, all funded by generous individuals and companies like you.
The Association of Air Ambulances Charity (AAAC) exists to provide the infrastructure to work with corporate partners, accept legacies and other donations that are then distributed to the 21 regional charities. Many individuals and organisations feel a very close affiliation to their local air ambulance; if you would like to work directly with them, please click here to find your nearest air ambulance charity – they’ll be delighted to hear from you.
Thanks for visiting us – we do appreciate it. There are people living now who would not be alive if it were not for air ambulances, and not a single air ambulance would be in the air without the nationwide network of donors. Do contact us if you would like to help this very special community.
